What is the expected salary for the TNPSC Group 4 Job ?

Rs.5200 - 20,200/- + Grade Pay 2400  ( First month salary nearly Rs.16,644 + ) . If you are a degree holder , you will get about Rs.1000 /- more .

Age Limit for applying TNPSC Group 4 Exam

Minimum 18 Years. (Common for all categories)

Maximum age limit varies for different categories.

1. SC / SC (A), ST and Destitute Widows of all castes  - 35 Years

2.MBC / Denotified Communities, BC and BC (Muslims) - 32 Years

3.“Others” (Candidates not belonging to SC, SC(A), ST, MBCs/DC, BC and BCM )- 30 Years

Is there is exception in maximum age limit to apply TNPSC Group 4 Exam ?

Yes, there are exceptions for certain categories in the maximum age limit to apply. The details as follows.
There is no maximum age limit for TNPSC Group 4 Exam candidates belonging to SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BCs, BCMs and Destitute Widows of all castes who possess a qualification higher than General Educational Qualification (SSLC / 10th) (For example, if  you have passed passed 12th / H.S.C / Diploma /Degree / PG you dont have maximum age limit).

What is the Educational Qualification to apply TNPSC Group 4 ? 

The required educational qualification to apply TNPSC Group 4 Exam is SSLC / 10th . The candidate should have completed the SSLC or 10th as on the notification date of TNPSC Group 4 Exam.

20% reservation of vacancies for Persons Studied in Tamil Medium  (PSTM)

Tamilnadu Government provides 20 % reservation in the total number of vacancies . TNPSC Group 4 Notification 2014 gives the following condition for claiming PSTM reservation. 

"Candidates claiming PSTM reservation should have studied the prescribed qualification (For TNPSC Group 4 Exam, SSLC / 10th is the prescribed qualification) for particular post in Tamil Medium and should have the certificate for that."

Is there any Technical Qualification in the TNPSC Group 4 Exam ?

Yes there are some technical qualification for particular jobs like typist. 

1. Technical Qualification for Typist Job
Must have passed the Government Technical Examination in Typewriting:-
(i) by Higher / Senior Grade in Tamil and English (or)
(ii) by Higher / Senior Grade in Tamil and Lower/ Junior Grade in English (or)
(iii) by Higher / Senior Grade in English and Lower/ Junior Grade in Tamil.
 
2.Technical Qualification for Steno-Typist Grade III
Must have passed the Government Technical Examination both in Typewriting and in Shorthand:-
(i) by Higher / Senior Grade in Tamil and English (or)
(ii) by Higher / Senior Grade in Tamil and Lower/ Junior Grade in English (or)
(iii) by Higher / Senior Grade in English and Lower/ Junior Grade in Tamil.

What are the documents needed to apply TNPSC Group 4 Exam online ?

1.You should have scanned images of your Passport Size photo and Signature in a Pen drive or CD or Email.

Examination Fees for TNPSC Group 4 Exam ?

For candidates completed One Time Registration - Rs.75 /-  
For candidates not completed One Time Registration should pay additional Rs.50 / - as Application Fee .

*** If you are applying for first time, first do One Time Registration in the www.tnpscexams.net website . It costs Rs.50/- and valid for next 5 years(You need not pay application fee for next 5 years) .***

How can I pay  Examination Fee ?

You have two options to pay examination fee for TNPSC Group 4 Examination by online as well as offline
