Scheme and how to prepare for TNPSC examinations?

 Tamilnadu public service commission conducts examination every year or whenever required (the time is tentative) to recruit persons for various state government of Tamil Nadu services. The services include state, subordinate and Ministerial.

The scheme of examination:

 TNPSC Group I examination composed of two papers such as preliminary and Mains. Preliminary is comprised  two papers that are

1.General Knowledge

2.Common English/Tamil

And the mains written by who cleared preliminary examination. Oral test will be conducted for the final selection.

The Group II composed of only two papers they are General Knowledge and General Tamil or English. But which has two options for example examination with oral test or only written. The posting will be given according to the type of paper candidate have chosen whether with oral or only written.

How to prepare for Examination and suggested books:

General knowledge:

 The prime source for general knowledge portion of the exam is not more than our state board text books. From this source one aspirant could get foundation for general knowledge and if one thorough state board books of of 6^th to 12^th then he has no worry about the general knowledge. General science:

The 6^th to 10^th standard state board books are enough for general science and you have to prepare 11^th and 12^th for Biology, Chemistry and Physics. Indian geography:

For Indian geography follow 6^th to 10^th social science books and 11^th 12^th geography books. But as the examination centers around tamilnadu one must give more attention on tamilnadu geography.

Indian History:

Prepare 6^th to 10^th text books and 11^th and 12^th history books. One must concentrate on ancient and medival history of India and Indian national movement and what was the contribution of Tamil Nadu in Indian national movement.

Indian Economy:

The 11^th and 12^th economic books are enough but to keep track the current changes of Indian economy one must concentrate and diligently follow the economic new in the standard national paper like Hindu and also any standard tamil nadu news paper. Apart from this one need to follow the economic year book of india and tamil nadu like Economic survey of India and Tamil Nadu year book. And one should be mind on the budgets of central and state government.
